The former governor of Lagos state Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is also the national leader of the Nigeria ruling party All Progressive Congress APC Loses First Son Jide Tinubu. Jide, the first son of the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) - Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, passed away this morning. Jide was a law graduate of the University of Liverpool, England. He obtained a Masters degree in Maritime Law from the University of London and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999. We need to pool parts of our incomes together NOW and start building FREE schools, FREE hospitals and FREE housing estates for the poor amongst us! The church has failed us.....but we cannot fail one another. We entrusted our money into their hands and they built huge edifices, bought jets, luxury cars, built schools that their poor congregations cant afford to attend etc! Or how do you explain the senior pastor of a church who sent his wife abroad for cancer treatment, telling his congregation to give faith offering and pray anytime they fall ill? Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is expected to appear in a Spanish court later to face tax fraud allegations relating to his time as Real Madrid manager. He is alleged to owe nearly 3.3 million euros (£2.9m, $3.8m) in undeclared image rights revenue. His representatives deny the allegation. There has been no confirmation that Mourinho will attend the hearing, but he has changed his pre-match routine. His pre-match press conference – which usually takes place on a Friday – was instead held on Thursday. Ijaw Youths Frown At Alleged Plot To Reappoint NDDC’s Chairman And Managing Director For Another Term

The Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) has warned against an alleged plot by the Muhammadu Buhari-led government to reappoint the current Chairman and Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for another four years tenure contrary to the principles of rotation enshrined in the Act establishing the commission. The plot was allegedly being spearheaded by embattled Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Mr Abubakar Malami. He was said to have forwarded a legal memo to President Muhammadu Buhari to reappoint the current NDDC board chairman, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba and the MD, Nsima Ekere, contrary to the provisions of the Act establishing the Commission in year 2,000.
