Late Moji Olaiya Burial Committee Appreciates Everyone Who Contributed To The Successful Burial Of The Late Actress


The burial committee for the nollywood actress, Late Moji Olaiya who died two months after giving birth in Canada as a result of complications writes a letter of appreciation to everyone who contributed one way or the other for the successful burial ceremony of the late actress who left behind a two months old baby

 The burial committee which has Yomi Fabiyi as the publicity secretary and Faithia Balogun as the chairperson wrote the appreciation letter below:

On behalf of OLAIYA FAMILY, Ijesha Esu, Ekiti and THE BURIAL COMMITTEE, we wish to express our profound gratitude to everyone that contributed in cash and kind towards the successful and befitting burial for LATE MOJI OLAIYA who died in Canada.

We wish to thank Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for single handedly footing the bill to bring the corpse and the 2 months old baby she left behind back home. Your kindness and in fact the audience you gave to us without prior appointment will forever linger in our memories. You made it so easy for us.

We will also love to thank the following people for their contributions in cash towards the vaults, memorial service & Artiste Nite;

However, the committee have decided to make judicious use of any funds left after all relevant expenses sorted to support the aged mother and two children the deceased left behind and we promised to keep close tab on them and ensure we support them if and when necessary.

  Today, I met with representatives of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) responsible for the welfare of Nigerian Students on scholarships abroad who are now stranded due to non-payment of their living allowances and tuition fees by relevant government agencies. At the meeting, I directed the Federal Scholarship Board (FSB) to present a comprehensive report of all Nigerian students on sch olarship abroad and their outstanding entitlements to the relevant committees of the Senate to enable the Senate make Appropriations for their settlement. Additionally, I have called for a comprehensive review of all scholarship policies in the country — through oversight — in order save Nigeria from future embarrassment. President Muhammadu Buhari has directed former Vice President Alex Ekwueme be immediately flown abroad for urgent medical treatment, the presidency said Friday. PMB after being briefed on Ekwueme’s condition he authorised the trip. The former vice president, who turned 85 in October, reportedly collapsed in his Enugu residence on Sunday. On Monday, his family said in a statement that the former leader’s health was stable.
