President Muhammadu Buhari is forced to work from home because of rats and rodents that ate up his office while away on medical vacation in London, according to his Senior Special Assistant on media and publicity GARBA SHEHU. Garba Shehu, while speaking to Thisday on Monday explained why the Commander in Chief will be working from his official residence having returned to the country. Shehu said that as a result of the president’s 103-day medical vacation in the UK, his office was infested by rodents, causing damage to the furniture and air conditioning units. “Following the three months period of disuse, rodents have caused a lot of damage to the furniture and the air conditioning units,” he said. Shehu, who said he cannot tell when the maintenance work will be completed, added that the development will not affect the president’s work since the residence has an annex to the office. He however said the maintenance company has been asked to speed up its work.

Constituents of Bayelsa East Senatorial District of Bayelsa State have threatened to begin a process of recalling Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, representing the constituency in the Senate.   The angry constituents, comprising mainly students, accused the ‘common sense’ Senator of neglecting them as well as having no plans for his constituency. Murray-Bruce’s constituency comprises Nembe, Brass and Ogbia LGAs of the state.   Leaders of student bodies for the three LGAs dropped their recall threat in a statement on Tuesday. The statement was signed by Samuel Tari (Nembe), Ambrose Joseph (Brass) and Mark John (Ogbia).   They lamented that the Senator was not in good relationship with his people and had allegedly continued to shy away from his constitutional responsibilities.   They cried out that the senator was donating relief materials to people in other states whereas his own constituents were wallowing in abject poverty with many students from...

The Nigeria president, President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) who has been on a medical leave in a far away United Kingdom for more than 100days has today come back to the Nigeria.  The president who landed at about 4:36pm at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport did his first assignment of inspecting the guard of honour after the long time of absence. The long absence of the president has generated a lot of speculations and criticisms on the part of opposition party PDP as well as Nigerians people at large. Some were of the opinion that the health issue of the PMB should be made known to Nigerians because we voted for him as a president and we deserve to know whatever that is happening to him. Some were of the opinion that he is completely incapacitated that he has been on a life support machine for a long time, that is why we can't hear or see his picture, and even, if he comes back to Nigeria he can not function effectively well again as a president, that, instead of holding the ...

The king of fuji music, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal also known as K1 De Ultimate is here to tell those people judging him to stop doing so. He said he is a builder and not a destroyer, that before you start judging someone there are things you need to put into consideration.  Read his full statement below; JUDGE ME NOT: It is only in this world that I see people passing judgment on a fellow being without putting some thoughts into consideration. I joke and play, but I will never go out of line. Whenever I am taken out of context, I laugh because those that know me only think of me in the best way which is expected as a TEAM LEADER. I am a BUILDER and not a DESTROYER, hence my belief in a better society where respect is not only TAKEN but also GIVEN. I try not to partake in issues with people because many do not know me well enough and vice versa. FINAL WORD: The real people that know me, give me the benefit of the doubt and don't JUDGE me. They know what I stand f...

Below is what Banky W. has to say concerning the feud that doesn't look like is ending any time soon between the star boy, Wizkid and the OBO himself, Davido. "What's better than one billionaire? Two" What's better than one of our Artists conquering the world? Two? Three? 10?? All?? Wish we would all just quit the mud slinging and get back to pushing the movement forward. When you're running a race, if you stop to throw stones at every dog that barks, you'll never reach your destination OR you'll get there much later than you should. And... A mud fight may seem like fun, but in the end, everyone just comes out looking like shit. Food for thought. #TheBankStatements Nobody wins when the #FamilyFeuds

Ha ha ha, I laugh in an Igbotic manner.    I maybe be a dreamer, but I came this far, vigorously chasing my dreams. Like it or not, I believe in the unity of Nigeria. I believe we still need each other, I believe that there is strength in our diversity, but I also know that there is so much disunity, injustices, hatred, poverty and hopelessness all being fanned by THEM against US to keep us in perpetual Mumuisim. My Own Mumu Don Do. Even though our brothers in the north have presided over the Nigerian state more than any ethnic group, is the north the Dubai of Nigeria? Why is it that over 25million children are out of school in Nigeria. Out of which 18 million are from the north whilst Kano state alone has 5million beggars. Go Google it. According to the UNDP 82% of northern Nigerians are living below the poverty line, why? According to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, the northern states "have the highest infant and maternal mortality rates in the country...
