President Muhammadu Buhari Will Be Working From Home Because His Office Has Been Infested With Rodents And Rats

President Muhammadu Buhari is forced to work from home because of rats and rodents that ate up his office while away on medical vacation in London, according to his Senior Special Assistant on media and publicity GARBA SHEHU.

Garba Shehu, while speaking to Thisday on Monday explained why the Commander in Chief will be working from his official residence having returned to the country.

Shehu said that as a result of the president’s 103-day medical vacation in the UK, his office was infested by rodents, causing damage to the furniture and air conditioning units. “Following the three months period of disuse, rodents have caused a lot of damage to the furniture and the air conditioning units,” he said.

Shehu, who said he cannot tell when the maintenance work will be completed, added that the development will not affect the president’s work since the residence has an annex to the office.

He however said the maintenance company has been asked to speed up its work.
