Former President Chief Olusegun Obasango, Charles Soludo and Tony Elumeu Co-founded the Africa Finance Corporation
The former president Olusegun Obasanjo, Tony O. Elumelu and Charles C. Soludo were recognized as the founding board members of the Africa Finance Corporation during the 10 years anniversary gala that the AFC was founded. In a post by Tony Elumelu, he revealed how they had the dream 10 years ago to build the Africa version of World Bank's IFC which led to the founding of Africa Finance Corporation. His words below; "I was on the founder's panel yesterday at the Africa Finance Corporation infrastructure summit with fellow co-founders Charles Soludo and former president Olusegun Obasanjo. Ten years ago, we had a dream to build Africa's version of the World Bank's IFC. To sit on the panel today with the founding AFC team, as we discussed how far this dream has come, was equal parts humbling and emotional.
