Lagos State Governor, Akinwumi Ambode In His Bid To Transform Lagos State Commissioned Some Roads Across The State Today
If you say Ambode is working is an understatement because the Governor of Center Of Excellence state is meeting up with his electioneering campaign promises by making sure that the traffic challenges of Lagos state are reduced to the barest minimum.
Today some roads were commissioned by this able governor across the state, starting from Epe under the Epe Phase 1 Project (The dream of transforming Epe and its environs into a modern city).
He also commissioned roads in Ogudu axis of the Kosofe Local Government Area. Some other roads were also commissioned to reduce the congestion of traffic on Oworonsoki Expressway.
"Today, we commissioned roads reconstructed and upgraded under the Epe phase 1 projet. The dream of transforming Epe and its environs into a modern city is becoming a reality. The network of roads have been complimented with street lights to provide illumination, improve security and enhance social-economic activities. This is consistent with our pledge to ensure inclusive growth, where no part of the state will be left behind or neglected.
He continues; we commissioned roads on Omotayo Banwo and kola Iyaomolere streets in the Ogudu axis of the Kosofe Local Government Area. This is in continuation of efforts to further improve road connectivity and travel time in the area.
And finally, He said; other roads upgraded and being commissioned today include Omotayo close, Adetunji Adegbite Street, Ogun Street, Goodluck Street and Prince Oyewumi Street. These roads will decongest traffic on Oworonshoki expressway by providing a link through Ogudu to Ikorodu expressway.
